We both are super active, we work a lot and love our work, we wear multiple hats and multitask like a boss, and we care, protect, and love fiercely.
Different? Maggie's family didn't quit their community, she grew up surrounded by family and culture, and because of this she knows without a doubt that she wants kids and is committed to continuing the legacy of her line and people.
Your first acting gig was:
Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes freshman year at my high school, Musselman High in West Virginia. My first Union gig, so official "pro" gig was August:Osage County at the Music Box on Broadway.
Favorite Theatre experience as an audience member:
ONE of my favorites was Phantom of the Opera with my parents and hearing my Father softly (but not softly enough!) singing along to every sone with the Phantom! Honestly though I have so many, and every single show at the moment the houselights dim my heart races and it's like I can't contain myself with excitement. I bounce, I clap, I grin, I punch the person I'm with . . . it must really be annoying to those around me!
When you have a five-minute break during rehearsal, what do you spend that time doing?
On a five I just stay where I am usually. At the table I'll re-read or make notes; on our feet I'll explore the set or feel out a new idea. Tens and longer are for tea time and peeing!
What do you do when you’re not doing theatre? I'm usually outside, at the gym, doing some DIY house project, meditating, cooking, driving, riding, freelance designing, or daydreaming. Or, AUDITIONING, so I can be back in the theatre or on set as soon as possible!
If you had a magic wand, what show would you do next? Something where all of my favorite people could be in it too, and it just happens to be the most fulfilling, meaningful, funny, heartfelt, life changing piece that brings world peace and ice cream to all.
